They were really nice and helpful. I believe it’s a good place to try the Lyonnais classics because there were a lot of Franch tables around me. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience.
There are French Street restaurants and there are restaurants which happen to be in the street. This one is exceptional. First, having booked a table when in the UK we were not really thinking one had been reserved for us when we saw how busy the place was. Wrong...our table was ready and waiting. Then there is the staff. From the owner (at least that is what we think she was) down to everyone else we were made to feel a part of the honoured guests. All tried and succeeded in speaking English and explained what was in the food when this was not immediately clear. One of the youg couples sitting next to us was gluten intolerant and the staff made sure to explain what he could or could not choose. Then of course is the food. Ok so it is not fine dining but then again they are not charging Michelin star prices. The food was varied do there was something for everyone on the menu, and when it arrived it was fresh, tasty and satisfying. There is an unhurried air about the place and they cannot do enough for you to make sure you can stay as long as you want even though they are very busy indeed.
This is a restaurant area with a great vibe about the place but this restaurant stands out as being better than the rest. Try it, you won't be disappointed. If I have a criticism it is that the entire area is cobbled streets so the table is a potential earthquake of rocking legs. However, they have a cure for this as well and we did not spill a drop of the lovely red wine we chose.
Décoration typique ,servis avec le sourire ,bonne qualité des plats ,prix corrects sauf les boissons. Parfois un peu de longueur mais ça reste acceptable
